CHAPTER 6:

*NICK'S POV*
"Hey Joe do you know what's bothering Kevin?" I asked as I walked out of the bathroom.
"I don't know why?"
"He left about an hour ago and he looked pretty mad" I said walking over to the bed where Joe was laying down.
"I heard him yelling over the phone earlier" he replied.
"Oh maybe he was talking to Brooke"
"Yea he was"
"Oh that's probably why he was mad" I said as I sat down.
"Who knows what she did now?" he said.
"Why don't we go do something fun today? You know since we got to perform tomorrow" I suggested.
"What can we do?" he asked.
"I don't know. Its Miami and there is always something fun to do"
"And dangerous" he said with a smile.
"Well then what are we going to do? There's the beach, downtown, movies, the fair, parks, bowling and the arcade"
"That's a tough one" he said as he began to think.

"Hey guys" Kevin said entering the hotel room with a smile.
"Hi. Someones happy" I said noticing his smile.
"Yeah Kev you OK?" Joe asked.
"Yeah why wouldn't I be?" Kevin replied.
"Well you left here pretty pissed and now well your not so pissed" I stated.
"And I heard you yelling on the phone earlier" Joe said.
"I'm fine" he said.
"You sure?" I asked
"Yeah" he said.
"OK"

"So what are you guys up to?" he asked.
"Trying to find something fun to do today" Joe answered.
"Oh any ideas" he said.
"Well we have a couple like the beach, downtown, movies, the fair, parks, bowling and the arcade" I said.
"I like the idea of the beach. I mean it is Miami and I heard the beaches down here are really something" Kevin replied.
"I'm in" said Joe.
"Alright then, the beach it is" I agreed.
"What time is it?" Joe asked.
"It's 12:45 pm" Kevin said after looking at his phone
"Well I'm going to go get ready. I'll meet you guys in the lobby in 45 minutes at 1:30" Joe replied.
"OK" I said.
"Alright" Kevin said.

We all went to get ready and I met Kevin down in the lobby at 1:15. As we waited for Joe we went to the front desk and asked for directions to the nicest beach. 1:30 came and Joe wasn't down yet as always. Ten minutes later he finally came down and we left for the beach. We arrived at the beach like 30 minutes later. As we were getting out of the car I saw the most beautiful girl ever. She had light brown wavy hair down to her mid back. She had the most beautiful smile but I couldn't see her eyes because she was wearing sunglasses. She was walking on the beach with a couple other girls I'm guessing who were her friends.

"Peyton heads up?" I heard a guy yell and I noticed that she turned to look at him.

There was a volleyball heading towards her. She ran to catch it and threw it back at a group of guys near a volleyball net.

"Thanks Peyton!" he yelled.
"No problem!" she yelled back.

Wow beautiful and athletic! Talk about being wonderful and my perfect girl. She was beautiful, she seemed sweet, and she wasn't worried about breaking a nail.

"Peyton wait!" the guy yelled and she turned back around to face him. "You want join us?"
"Sure but can my girls play too?" she replied.
"Yeah" he said.
"Alright we're in" she yelled as she ran over to where the guys were at.

"Earth to Nick" Joe said waving his hand in my face.
"Huh? Oh sorry" I said snapping out of my thought sand looking away from her towards Joe.
"What were you staring at?" he asked.
"The most beautiful thing ever" I replied with a smile.
"Where?"
"Nowhere" I said as I put on my sunglasses.
"OK whatever frobro but I'd wipe the drool off your chin if I were you" he said laughing. I quickly wiped my chin and there was drool.
"Don't worry Nick it's happened to all of us" Kevin said trying to make me feel better.
"Really?" I asked.
"No but that was funny" he said laughing along with Joe.
"You guys really need to grow up" I said.
"Chill have some humor bro" Joe said as they slowly stopped laughing.
"Well this is Miami Beach" Kevin said as we all looked around.
"I like it" Joe said as I took off my sunglasses.
"Last one to the water is a rotten egg" I yelled as we all ran towards the beach.

We took off our shoes and shirts and threw them on the sand along with our towels and we all raced to the water. I was swimming around playing with my brothers when I saw her. She was gorgeous. A girl in a two-piece swim suit with an awesome body running back and forth playing volleyball on the beach. It was hott. And smile was just breath taking. It was like one of those Colgate smiles you see on the toothpaste commercials. It was so bright and full of life and happiness that it shined in the sunlight whenever she flashed it. All she did was smile and laugh as I watched her have fun. After a while of staring I decided to get out of the water. I walked up on the sand and just laid there on my towel until I heard someone yell.

"Omgosh your Nick Jonas!!" A girl yelled as she stood over me blocking the sun.
"Yeah but please shhh we're kind of just trying to relax before tomorrows concert"
"Oh OK but can I get your autograph please?" she asked nicely.
"Yeah sure" she gave me a marker and a paper and I signed it for her and she left.

Not long after she left Joe and Kevin came out of the water and walked up to me.

"Let's get out of here I'm hungry" Joe said as he rubbed his stomach.
"As always" I whispered to myself.
"What?" he asked.
"Me too" I said and we headed back to the car.

We grabbed something to eat and then went back to the hotel to rest and relax. We had a big day tomorrow.
After about an hour of resting we went to do sound check at the venue and made sure everything was safe and secure. The whole day I couldn't stop thinking about that girl I saw. Peyton.

*JOE'S POV*
Both my brothers were acting pretty weird today. Like they were hiding something. I decided to message my buddy Isabella.

rockstar550:Hey Joe! =) and no one calls me that why do you? and nothing much just got home from work about a couple minutes ago
liveformusic:Because Isabella's too long and I like it......so what do you have planned for tomorrow?
rockstar550:OK fine and what's tomorrow?
liveformusic:Your birthday dork! You're turning 20
rockstar550:Oh I forgot
liveformusic:How could you forget?
rockstar550:Its no different from any other day
liveformusic:Yeah it is you're another year older
rockstar550:And its not important I still have to work and do everything =(
liveformusic:Well you shouldn't have to
rockstar550:But I do and that's never going to change
liveformusic:Happy Birthday Bella!! =D

liveformusic:Yup

I signed off and went to sleep. I had a big day tomorrow.

*ISABELLA'S POV*
I was happy that Joe remembered my birthday because I had really forgotten. Not many people remember except Ariel, Lucas and believe or not Edward. Edward was the only one out of my family that actually remembered my birthday. He sometimes had a heart but was afraid to show it. He was tall had really light skin with green eyes and long light brown hair straight down to his chin. His hair was kind of like Chad Michael Murray's hair in Freaky Friday just a lot prettier and it was always in a pony tail. His twin Victoria looked exactly like him except she was a girl and her hair was longer much longer up to her waist. You could totally tell they were twins except that she never had a heart and neither did Juliet. Juliet was a year younger that the twins. She was 18 like Ariel. She had a completely different look from the twins. She was not as light skinned as them but she was light. She had hazel colored eyes and short dark brown wavy up to her shoulders but, she had the same attitude as Victoria and her mother and just like them she was heartless.

They never really remembered my birthday and if they did they didn't care. They never even bother to wish me a happy birthday or at least give me the day off. The only one who ever did was Edward but they didn't know that he had a heart.

That night I went to sleep a little happier than before because for once someone other than Lucas, Ariel, and Edward remembered my birthday and actually showed that he cared. Even if I didn't really know who Joe was or what he looked like I was falling for him and he was slowly stealing my heart.

I met a really awesome guy today Kevin Jonas but seriously what are the chances of me and him happening. Him and I will never be. There will never be an us. I have a better chance with Joe a guy that I've never even seen or really met than with Kevin a guy I've actually spoken to in person and seen with my own eyes. But that's life. Always getting your hopes up and then shooting you back down.
