CHAPTER 13:

*KEVIN’S POV*
I was on my way to Starbucks when I saw her. She was talking to her friends in the music store I met her in. I walked into Starbucks and bought my brothers and me our favorites. As I headed back to where we were seated signing autographs and secretly trying to find my Cinderella I noticed that she wasn’t in the store anymore. I turned around and continued heading to my brothers. There she was surprisingly in the line to meet us.

“Big Rob come here for a sec please” I said as I sat down at my chair and I handed my brothers their drinks.
“What’s up Kevin?” he asked.
“I need for you to do me a favor. There’s a girl in line her name’s Is she’s wearing light blue jeans and a white t-shirt that says “MM” on it with a guitar design on it. She has green eyes and dark brown hair you can’t miss her. I need you to let her skip everyone and bring her up front to us,” I explained.
“Will do” he said as he turned around and headed towards the back of the line. Seconds later he returned with Is following closely behind him.

*IS’ POV*
I was shocked when Big Rob asked me to come to the front. I was only in line for like two minutes. I walked closely behind him as he led me through the crowd of screaming girls.

“Thanks Rob” I heard a too familiar voice and I realized why I was able to skip everyone. Big Rob moved out of my view and I saw him Kevin Jonas.
“Hi Is” he said sweetly as he reached for my hand.
“Hi Mr. Jonas” I said politely handing him my hand as he gently kissed it.
“Kevin and where were you last night? I expected for you to be at the party” he just threw it out there.
“I couldn’t make it so I gave my ticket away to some girl there,” I said lying again. Didn’t I come to set out the truth?
“Who? I want to know who she was. I need to find her. I gotta find her,” he said and I could see the hope in his eyes.
“I don’t know who she was sorry! She was just some nice girl I met at the store and she really wanted to go to your concert but she didn’t have the money to afford a ticket,” I explained and his hope was shot.
“Oh” he said.
“Sorry” I apologized.
“So what brings you here?” he asked.
“I believe you did well your body guard actually” I looked over and smiled at big rob.
“I meant what brings you to wait in this line? I thought you ‘weren’t a fan’ or at least that’s what I heard,” he said with air quotes.
“What’s with the fingers?” I asked.
“Oh nothing just wondering why you’re in line to get the signatures of a ‘so called awesome band,’ ” he said reminding me of our first encounter.
“Well if you must know I listened to the CD of this ‘so called awesome band’ and I got front row tickets to their concert last night,” I replied.
“Oh really and what did you think of them?” he asked.
“They were alright”
“Alright?” he questioned.
“Well yea for a ‘so called awesome band’ I mean they weren’t bad” I replied.
“Oh I see well then I guess we’re going to have to work on that,” he said with a smile.
“I guess so,” I said smiling back.
“So what brings you to me again?” he asked.
“I actually wanted to talk o you about-” two girls yelling cut me off.
“Kevin! Kevin! I know who your Cinderella is!” They both yelled in unison. Why did those voices sound so familiar?
“Who said that?” he yelled. “I’m sorry Is” he apologized. “Just give me a second,” he said as he got up.
“We did” one girl said stepping out of the crowd. Omg it was Juliet with Virginia stepping out behind her. She knew it was me. Omg they’re onto me. But how? I hid myself very well and I was very careful. I better leave before they see me and point me out to the whole world.

Before she could continue, I quickly turned around and walked away as fast as possible. The last thing I heard was Kevin say “Who is she?” I quickly walked back towards the store and on my way I called Ariel.

“Hello” she answered on the second ring.
“We have major issues come here to the store quick I can’t say it over the phone someone might here me.”
“Alright I’ll be there in a bit,” she said and she hung up.

Not long after, they came rushing into the store.

“Okay what’s the problem?” Peyton asked.
“I think they’re onto me,” I said.
“Who?” Ariel asked.
“Juliet and Virginia” I replied.
“What do you mean? How do you know?” Peyton asked.
“I went on my break when you guys left to go talk to Kevin and I was about to tell him when I heard someone yell ‘Kevin! Kevin! I know who your Cinderella is’ and he got up and told me to hold on. He asked who was said that and they stepped out of the crowd and I saw them. I panicked so I turned around and left as quickly as possible,” I explained.
“Are you sure they’re onto you?” Ariel asked.
“Who else could they say it was?” I replied with a question.
“Idk but are you sure you were careful about hiding yourself?” she asked.
“I wore a mask Ariel what more could I have done to hide myself and I even lied about my name,” I said.
“True” she replied. “What did you do with the mask and the crown?”
“I hid in a box under my bed where no one could find it”
“Is anyone at your house?” she asked.
“No Edward is out back and as you can see the bitches are here and Nicole is at the spa. She won’t be home till five,” I said wondering why Ariel was asking such a question.
“Okay good can I get your house keys?” she asked.
“What are you planning?” I asked curiously.
“We’re going to check and see if they found the box,” she explained. “Did you seal it?”
“Well I folded it crossed-like so if it’s open then they saw it and if the box isn’t in the far corner then they found it,” I explained.
“Alright then we’ll be back as soon as possible,” they said as I handed them the keys.
“Be careful don’t get caught” I advised them.
“We won’t” Peyton said as the turned around and left.

What if they knew about me being Joanna? They probably told Kevin and he hates me now for lying to him? I really hope it was all a joke and that they didn’t know it was me. I waited impatiently at my job while Ariel and Peyton investigated.
